Additional Hosting-Specific Clauses Worth Adding
For a hosting company, I’d strongly recommend adding these:
Resource Usage Policy
While FlyingHost provides dedicated resources for each hosted website, customers may not use the service in a manner that threatens platform stability, security, or reliability. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or require upgrades for accounts that excessively consume resources.
Abuse and Security
We reserve the right to immediately suspend services involved in malware distribution, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized access attempts, or other activities that pose a security risk.
Data Deletion After Cancellation
Following cancellation or termination, FlyingHost may permanently delete account data, backups, and related content after a reasonable retention period. Customers are responsible for exporting data before service termination.
Beta Features
Any beta, preview, or experimental features are provided “as is” and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
